Baby monkeys grew up anxious and anti-social after the stress of separation from their mothers, a study says.

It suggests changes to the brains of infant monkeys may be irreversible, and the study could be a model for humans.

An early shock to the system may leave the monkeys prone to a life of anxiety, poor social skills and depression. FULL STORY

Fortunate indeed are the women who are childless

LUKE 23:28- But Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

Children in Long-Term Foster Care Suffer High Rates of Behavioral, Emotional Problems

Newswise — DURHAM, N.H. – Children who live in long-term foster care experience higher rates of behavioral and emotional problems compared with their peers who are reunited with their families or adopted, according to new research from the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire.

The research was conducted by Wendy Walsh, research assistant professor of sociology at the UNH Crimes against Children Research Center and a research associate at the Carsey Institute, and Marybeth Mattingly, director of research on vulnerable families at the Carsey Institute and a research assistant professor of sociology at UNH.

“Children in long-term foster care suffer from behavior and emotional problems at alarming rates. Better identifying and assisting children with, or at risk of developing such problems upon entry to foster care and throughout their out-of-home placement, may alleviate their needs and troubles and provide mechanisms for supporting them as they get older,” the researchers said. The Child Abuse Laws Which Could Destroy Your Reputation
Posted By Dr. Mercola | February 05 2011

America's global leadership imperiled by weak families
Sexual dysfunction, divorce, out-of-wedlock birth depriving kids of stable homes

Family breakdown is threatening America's ability to lead the world, according to a new study released by the Family Research Council

"A great nation depends on great families, but weak families will build a weak nation," writes FRC scholar Dr. Patrick Fagan in "The US Index of Belonging and Rejection"

"Bluntly put, the United States will not be able to maintain its leadership role in the community of nations unless its parents take a leadership role in the communities they have built: their families, which are the fundamental units of our society. If the United States desires to be a leader in the world, pursuing what is good for itself and other nations, its parents must first be leaders of their own homes and children,"
* warns Fagan, director of FRC's Marriage and Religion Research InstituteFULL STORY

*PROBLEM- There is an absolute WAR going on against parents doing exactly that- because as Vladimir Ilyich Lenin said- "Destroy the family, you destroy the country."

Study shows limits of Child Protective Services
By Anne Harding – Tue Oct 5, 2010 5:16 pm ET

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – The Child Protective Services system in the United States "has outlived its usefulness," and should be scrapped in favor of other approaches to protecting at-risk kids, according to a leading expert on injury prevention.

Law enforcement personnel should investigate abuse allegations, public health nurses should help at-risk families before abuse or neglect occurs, and social workers should be involved in counseling and helping families, but not investigating crime, Dr. Abraham B. Bergman of Harborview Medical Center in Seattle writes in an editorial in this months' issue of Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.

Bergman's editorial is a commentary on a study published in the same issue of the journal that found investigations of suspected child maltreatment didn't improve risk factors known to increase the likelihood of child abuse, including lack of social support and poor family functioning.  FULL STORY

October 5, 2010|8:41 a.m.

Much attention has been focused on the inadequacy of child protective services agencies in the United States. That attention includes a Los Angeles Times' 2009 series on flaws in local CPS operations titled "Innocents Betrayed." A new study confirms the difficulty of child protective services agencies nationwide in altering the fate of abused or neglected children.  FULL STORY

Kinship Care More Beneficial Than Foster Care, Study Finds

Vulnerable Children Fare Well With Relatives, Study Finds

ScienceDaily (Jan. 21, 2009) — Placing vulnerable children with relatives is a viable option, a new study by Cochrane Researchers suggests. In view of several recent high profile child abuse cases, the study may have important policy implications.

"We don't know what type of out-of-home care is best for children. But our research suggests that children placed with relatives do as well or better than those placed with foster parents," says lead researcher Marc Winokur, who works at the Social Work Research Center at Colorado State University in the US.

Mass incarcerations without trial or charge; forced confessions; children forcibly separated from their parents with no reasons given; doctored hearing transcripts and falsified court records; evidence fabricated against the innocent; government agents entering the homes, examining private papers and personal effects, and seizing the property of citizens who are under no suspicion of legal wrongdoing; special courts created specifically to convict people who cannot be convicted in ordinary courts; children instructed to hate their parents by state functionaries:

Not since the overthrow of the Weimar Republic have the leaders of a major democracy used their offices and the mass media to disseminate invective against millions of their own citizens.  In fact it was Adolph Hitler who urged that the state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people” and who explained, in the words of Rabbi Daniel Lapin, that “as long as government is perceived as working for the benefit of children, the people happily will endure almost any curtailment of liberty.”  Using children to tug on our heartstrings may be not only a weakness of the sentimental. It also may be a ploy by those cynical and unscrupulous enough to exploit children for their own purposes. This is likely to be remembered as one of the most diabolical perversions of governmental power in our history, a time when we allowed children to be used and abused by fast-talking government officials and paid for it with our families, our social order and our constitutional rights.-- STEPHEN BASKERVILLE (in about 2000)

Child Molesters: A Behavioral Analysis

"Adults with an added authority (e.g., teachers, camp counselors, coaches, religious leaders, law-enforcement officers, doctors, judges [DA and child protection attorneys]) present even greater problems in the investigation of these cases. Such offenders are in a better position to seduce and manipulate victims and escape responsibility.

...The most difficult case of all involves a subject who has an ideal occupation for any child molester: a therapist who specializes in treating troubled children. This offender need only sit in his office while society preselects the most vulnerable victims and brings them to him. The victims are by definition “troubled” and unlikely to be believed if they do make an allegation

These are the stories no one wants to hear -- children, abused and neglected, some to the point of death. Many of them must leave their families to go into shelters or foster care. Often these children leave their homes with only a garbage bag to hold their clothes and favorite toys, the most are routinely tossed from one temporary placement to another, often ten or twenty times during their most formative, vulnerable years. This is the continuing saga of crimes against Foster children. Children are dying, inside and out...

This page is in memory of children died of neglect or abuse while under the care of the social service agencies! Many died suspiciously or from neglect. Most of their lives and deaths went unnoticed. Until now. But you likely never heard of them. The deaths of these children -- and what government agencies did or didn't do to save their lives -- Even when they die, their stories are rarely told. Those Children Were Failed by the System ! Please, don't wait for new name on this page. http://suncanaa. com

I tell you, freedom and human rights in America are doomed.
The U.S. government will lead the American people, and the

-Osama bin Laden, October, 2001 (quoted in NewsMax.com 2/1/02)

"There are more than half a million children and youth in the U.S. foster care system today. Studies reveal that children are 11 times more likely to be abused in state care than they are in their own homes, and 7 times more likely to die as a result of abuse in the foster care system."-- John Walsh Show April 16, 2003

"As many as 75 percent of all children in foster care, upon leaving the system, will have experienced sexual abuse.  One study by Johns Hopkins University found that the rate of sexual abuse within the foster-care system is more than four times as high as in the general population; in group homes, the rate of sexual abuse is more than 28 times that of the general population." --Sexual Abuse: An Epidemic in Foster Care Settings? Last year, I was cleaning up my computer desktop. One item I came across was a poignant photo of a FLDS girl alone on a bus waving goodbye to her home and the life she knew.

As I was looking at this image, it struck me that- This IS a photo of the "Best Interest of the Child".

And then it struck me- This is a NEW Civil Right

That is, the child has the "right" to have her life decisions made for her by government. HER "BEST INTEREST" CIVIL RIGHTFULL STORY
